30 years of PES, 30 years of progress

When the PES was founded 30 years ago, its manifesto honoured the survivors of two world wars who had placed their hopes in a peaceful, progressive, Europe. It affirmed the PES mission— a Europe without racism, nationalism, inequality and environmental disaster. Thirty years later, this book reviews how far European socialism has come and what remains to be done to achieve a better future.
